Unable to sleep under this lonely sky,
This guilty feeling is making me cry!

I failed today by many a mile,
For I could not find the way, the way to make you smile!

I have to reach you, no matter what is the street,
Nothing can stop me, be it rain, snow or heat!

Whenever you are sad, my heart doesn't beat for a while,
So I need to find the way, the way to make you smile!

You know you mean everything to me,
To your feet, I surrender myself on one knee!

You have the strength, to make roses blossom even in the Nile,
I guess roses are the way, the way to make you smile!

I'll be there for you..

When you close your eyes, you'll see,
Standing right there it would be me!

To see you smile as you do,
And make you Oh! so happy!

I would give away the world,
And all my lives too!

Because you mean the world to me,
And come what may, I'll be there for you!

a little star..

Looking outside my little window,
Searching for something my heart doesn't know.

My eyes turn up to the empty dark sky,
Not a single star, I don't know why.

It wasn't like this a few months ago,
A little star in the whole sky used to glow.

Tearing clouds apart, an aeroplane flies by,
With a little smile, I wink my left eye.

Since looking at its lights, now I know,
That one shining star, where did it go.

An angel, a princess, who does not live near by,
She is pretty, she is beautiful, and Oh! so shy!

We met at my house, a few months ago,
Talking to her made me raise my eyebrow!

We came closer, as time followed by,
And that little jealous star, it must have fell from the sky!

the extra mile..

During the evening drizzle when you walk down the narrow lane..
Hand in hand, sharing joy and pain..
Go close to her ears and murmur these words..
Honey, I want to dance with you in the rain..!

Hearing this, she would pause for a while..
Resting her head on your shoulder, she would smile..
Looking into your eyes, she would say..
Through good and bad, in times happy and sad, for you I would take the extra mile..!
